Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed Imam Ali Khamenei condoles families of terrorist attacks victims

In a message on Friday, Leader said the attacks that led to the martyrdom and injury of several Iranians in the holy fasting month of Ramadan is a clear sign of animosity of arrogant mercenaries towards the dignified Iranian people, the Islamic Revolution as well as the late founder of Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini.

“Such crimes that suggests a foul play, and at the same time, a humiliation of perpetrators and instigators, are nothing to affect the determination of the Iranian nation. These are nothing but increasing the hatred towards the US and their agents in the region such as Saudi government. The Iranian nation is united and will advance with more determination on the way towards fight against terrorism, God willing,” the message reads.

“I commemorate the memories of the martyrs and extend my congratulations and condolences to their families and pray to God Almighty for the recovery of the injured, Ayatollah Khamenei added.

Two terrorist groups attacked mausoleum of the late Imam Khomeini and the Iranian Parliament on Wednesday morning (June 7), killing 17 people and injuring 52 more.

The ISIL terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the fatal attacks in Tehran.
