Leader of Islamic Ummah Imam Khamenei: Protecting Islamic, Revolutionary identity top priority

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei issued a message to the inauguration ceremony of 5th round of Assembly of Experts where he congratulated the elected members for winning the votes and trust of the nation.

The message was recited by Head of Leader’s office Hojjatol-Islam Mohammadi Golpaigani at the beginning of the opening ceremony in the morning.

Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppresed People  Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei deemed the coincidence of the inauguration with the times of birth anniversary of Imam Mahdi (AJ) as auspicious and with Khordad 3rd (May 23) which marks liberation of Khorramshahr as symbol of victory of resistance and raising of flag od Divine conquest.

Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppresed People  Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei further praised God for granting the ‘brave, faithful and loyal’ nation the blessing of this Assembly for which the country witnessed once again another allegiance from the nation.

“I congratulate you the elected members for winning the trust and vote of the nation and pray to God to help you succeed in fulfilling your duties in serving the country and nation,” reads part of message.

Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppresed People  Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei highlighted the significance of the Assembly’s task in one sentence; “careful and comprehensive protection of Islamic and Revolutionary identity of the ruling Establishment and directing the interwoven bodies of the Establishment towards high and valuable goals. Performing this heavy duty demands eligibilities which are predicted in the Constitution.”

“This great Assembly is responsible with recognizing the existence and endurance of these eligibilities and this brings huge responsibilities to it: understanding current position of the Islamic Republic in today world; paying attention to interesting model of religious democracy from among many other forms of governance in which spirituality and religious, people or both are victimized; paying attention to unparalleled role of faith and beliefs raised from Islamic teachings in popular elections; paying attention to impact of personal and political piety of the Leader in protecting popular trust, and health and firmness and strength of the Establishment… these remind and demand fulfilment of parts of responsibilities this great Assembly which comprises influential and popular Faqihs (jurisprudents) bears on its shoulders,” emphasizes the message. “Any of the abovementioned issues point to duties which if carried out properly, would lead the country and the Establishment towards strength and improvement and assist the Leader with fulfilling that huge and unique duty.”

Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppresed People  Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s message concluded with praying for success of the members of the Assembly of Experts.
