Leader of Ummah lauds 50 years of struggles by Qom Seminary ulema

Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in a message to the Society of the Scholars and Lecturers of Qom Seminary, said that the society is the symbol of half a century of efforts and campaign in the path of maintenance of the rights of Iranian nation.

In the message issued under the heading of ‘Half a Century of Presence’ on Thursday, the Leader said that the society is the symbol of more than 50 years of ceaseless efforts and struggles during the hardship era under the deposed regime of Pahlavi and that it has successfully managed to spread the brave voice of the seminary all over.
The threats, pressures, exile, and imprisonment, the Leader noted, couldn’t make the struggling ulema, this clerical establishment, to retreat or to feel the minimum sense of doubt in the way.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in his message, underlined coupling of half a century of political and revolutionary experiences with modern know-how, expressing confidence that the morale of unsparing efforts, initiatives, and brave steps forward in all domains would solidify further steps following 50 years of movement and struggles.
The one-day seminar of Half a Century of Presence started today morning to laud 50 years of scientific, cultural, and political efforts by the Qom Seminary in Qom city, 120 km south of Tehran.
