Leader: Revolution weakened claws of tyranny

Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Opressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei has praised the 1979 Islamic Revolution for weakening the tyrannical grip of oppressive powers.

“If the Iranian nation had not made the exploitation, monopoly and control of the resources of nations difficult for domineering powers by choosing the path of the Revolution it would not become the target of such enmity and malice,” Imam Ali Khamenei said Thursday at a gathering of eulogists and poets in Tehran.

Imam Ali Khamenei went on to warn of a new wave of strategies employed by “global bullies and international gangs of power and wealth” with the aim of countering the Iranian nations progress.

“A sense of responsibility and hard work will aid the Iranian nation to foil these plots,” the Leader added.
