Leader slams US presence in Mideast

Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Opressed People Seyyed Ali Khamenei has slammed the US presence in the Middle East.

Imam Ali Khamenei said Washington has spent a huge budget on launching wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and also on helping Israel in order to maintain instability in the Middle East.

Imam Ali Khamenei said Islam is opposed to such powers, describing them as corrupt.

The Leader said those powers are in a state of downfall while the Muslim world is becoming increasingly vigilant.

Imam Ali Khamenei also urged unity among all Muslim nations.

The Leader made the remarks in a meeting with top Iranian officials and foreign ambassadors. The gathering was held on the occasion of Eid-al-Mab’ath – the day when Muslim Prophet Muhammad was appointed to prophethood.

Imam Ali Khamenei said Prophet Muhammad’s message was justice, peace, and security for all humans.
