Lebanese Army Arrests New Terrorist, Finds Explosives

The Lebanese Army found explosives in Akkar, as the LA’s Command announced that “following investigation with the arrested Mahmoud Khaled, he confessed that explosives and ammos are buried underground in a land he owns in the town of Fnaydek in Akkar.”

“On Thursday, a LA unit raided the mentioned place and found explosives, mortar shells and cartridge as well as a large number of metallic balls that equips explosive belt,” the Army Command continued, adding that “the findings were handed to the concerned authorities in order to take the adequate measures.”

A high-level well-informed source assured to al-Joumhouria newspaper that preliminary investigations showed that citizen Mahmoud Khaled, as known as “Abou Abida” in involved in terrorist acts as preliminary information link him to the recent explosions.
