Lebanese Army Kills Senior Daesh Militant on Northeastern Border

The Lebanese Army Thursday killed two Daesh (ISIL) terrorists, including a senior commander, during a major military operation on the outskirts of the northeastern town of Arsal.

Nayef Shaalan, who is also known as Abou Fouz, was killed in an early morning raid by the army in the Wadi al-Hosn area, a security source told The Daily Star.
