Lebanese Girl Killed by New Armed Groups Attack on Hermel

A 17-year-old girl, called Loulou Awad, was martyred Monday night after a new attack by armed groups in Syria on Lebanese citizens in the Bekaa city of Hermel.

Al-Manar correspondent reported that 3 rockets hit Al- Hermel and led to the death of the girl as well as the injury of other citizens. The National News Agency, however, said that another woman from the same family was wounded by the rockets. The rockets also caused major material damage.

The rocket attack which targeted residential neighborhoods in Hermel is not the first one by armed groups in Syria on the Lebanese citizens in the Hermel region near the Syrian border.
