Lebanese mark Iran’s Islamic Revolution anniv.

The Iranian embassy in Beirut is holding a ceremony to mark the 36th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. Prominent religious and political figures took part in the gathering.

At the ceremony Iranian Ambassador to Beirut, Mohamad Fathali, opened the ceremony with a welcoming speech in which he spoke about Iran’s advancement on the global arena.

The event saw prominent figures from all over Lebanon. All political factions were present at the celebration. Politicians spoke of the importance of good and strong ties between Tehran and Beirut.

Thirty six years after the Islamic revolution in Iran, the country has proven to be of the most advanced nations in the region. People at the event noted the significance of the revolution not just in Lebanon but in the region.
