Lebanese scholar slams US, Saudi inhumane measures in Yemen

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Yazbek, head of the Hezbollah Movement’s Sharia board, in his recent remarks expressed regret over the massacre of Yemeni people attending funeral ceremony in Sana’a calling that carnage of humanity and not merely people in Yemen, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” The US unveiled its true face by its direct bombardment of Yemen though the least move was not made and even one tear was not shed over the massacre in the war-torn country.”

The cleric added,” The smoke for Saudi oil blinded their (The US) sights so that they ignore the incident and took silence so that their interests in the Persian Gulf are not jeopardized.”

Lebanese top scholar noted that the situation in Yemen is quite critical in a way that no one lends a hearing ear to that and calls for negotiation and agreement remain unanswered.
