Lebanon Continues Exploring Scandalous Israeli internet Violation

The Parliamentary Media and Telecom Committee on Monday convened at the House of Parliament under the chairmanship of MP Hasan Fadlallah to explore the scandalous Israeli violation against the web network and illegal internet in Lebanon, according to NNA.

NNA added that the meeting was attended by Telecom Minister Boutros Harb, Director General of Ogero Abdel Menhim Youssof, General Prosecutor Judge Samir Hammoud, representative of Interior and Municipalities Minister Fady Khalil, representative of General Security top senior Colonel Jamal Kashmar and others.

MP Hasan Fadlallah confirmed the reports about the advanced fiber optic network that was set on the public light posts across all the Lebanese areas.

Sayyed Fadlallah also called on the government to give priority to the issue of the illegal internet, noting that the competent court is following up the case to arrest the culprits.

Telecommunication Minister Botrous Harb asserted that the illegal internet network is linked to the Zionist entity, informing the conveners about the measures taken by the ministry to limit the consequences of the scandal.
