Egyptian martyr soldier Mohammed Salah has garnered widespread attention on social media platforms after his official identification as the courageous man who carried out a border operation resulting in the killing of three Israeli forces and the injury of others.

The Israeli soldiers were killed early on Saturday morning at a military post near Mount Harif, in the Negev desert. An Israeli statement on Sunday identified the attacker as an Egyptian police officer, who was killed by Israeli troops.

Arab activists, numbering in the tens of thousands, have praised Salah’s bravery and courage, hailing him as the “embodiment of Arab pride” and representing the sentiments of the entire Islamic nation in their rejection and resistance against the occupying force.

Salah, a soldier in the Egyptian Central Security Forces, carried out the operation along the Egyptian-Palestinian border two days prior to his martyrdom, following an armed clash that lasted from dawn until shortly before noon on Saturday.

Renowned Egyptian activist Walid Magdy highlighted the trending name of the martyr Mohammed Salah on Twitter, referring to him as the “true Arab pride” and praying for Allah’s acceptance of him among the martyrs and the righteous.

A Twitter account under the name “Former Diplomat” said in a post, Mohammed Salah, the Egyptian soldier who attained martyrdom in the Sinai operation against the Zionists, “is the true Arab pride, not the one related to soccer. O Allah, accept him among the prophets, martyrs, and the righteous, and gather us with them. Amen.”

Activist Abu Malik shared a photo of Salah with his comrades, captioning it, “The true Arab pride, Mohammed Salah, the soldier who executed the ‘Al-Awja’ operation. His colleagues used to call him ‘The Artist,’ and he paved his way to paradise with his blood.”

The martyrdom of Salah has resonated deeply within the Arab community, particularly among Egyptians and Palestinians, who proudly express their admiration for his actions. With heartfelt sentiments and poetic tributes, social media has become a platform for honoring Salah’s sacrifice and elevating him to the status of a revered hero.
