Lebanon prayer leaders hail presidential election in Syria

n00160661-bDemise anniversary of late Ayatollah Seyyed Rouh Allah Khomeini (RA) and the presidential election in Syria made two of the most important axis of the Friday prayer sermons in Lebanon.
Seyyed Ali Fadhl Allah, prayer leader of Imamain Hassanain (AS) Mosque in Beirut in his weekly sermon said,” Late Imam Khomeini (RA) strengthened the foundations of independence and alleviated sectarian clashes through boosting Islamic unity.”

He called Imam Khomeini (RA) as the role model for fighting against the Zionist regime and noted the efforts of the late founder of Islamic Revolution in Iran to introduce the true image of Islam and also his helping the oppressed people of the world without any focus on their religious, social or cultural backgrounds.

Seyyed Ali Fadhl Allah praised presidential election in Syria and highlighted the determination of the Syrian nation to end the crisis in the country demanding Syrian authorities to maintain the demands of the nation and achieve peace through dialogue.

Sheikh Abdul Amir Kabalan, Deputy of Shia Supreme Council of Lebanon, in his Friday prayer sermon called the recent presidential election in Syria as a historical move against hostile intrigues made by the Syrian nation and demanded the government and nation to maintain their solidarity.

Skheikh Ahmad Kabalan, Mufti of the Jafari Fiq’h in Lebanon in the Friday prayer held in Imam Hussein (AS) Mosque in Beirut congratulated Syrian people on the national move they made and stressed,” Syria will never collapse and will never lose its historical role.”

Sheikh Affif Nablosi, prayer leader if Sidon also referred to the presidential election in Syria and underscored the incident as a great hit against regional and global enemies when they did not expect such a great turnout of the people in the election.

Sheikh Mahir Hamoud, orator of Al quds Mosque in Sidon stressed,” Presidential election in Syria defaced the intriguers, western enemies and claimers of human rights and democracy when the Syrian nation united to undermine the possibility of disintegration of the country.”
