“Long Walk to Karbala” Begins Ahead of Arba’een

Iraqi Muslims in Basra began the march toward Iraq’s holy shrine city of Karbala to attend mourning rituals on Arba’een, which marks 40 days after the anniversary of the martyrdom of Shiite Islam’s Third Imam and the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Hazrat Hossein Ibn Ali (AS).
