Manager of Velayat TV: Desecration of Sunni sanctities is our red line

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mohammad Husseini, prominent Shia scholar and manager of Velayat TV, met with Iraq’s secretary general of Al-Nojaba movement,  referred to anxious feelings of deviate Islamic movements over programs aired on Velayat television and noted that maintaining Sunni redlines by the channel is appreciated by several Sunni clerics, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He referred to the wide range of Velayat channel audiences across the world and highlighted the outrage among Wahhabi movements, receiving firm credited replies to the questions they raise on Shia Islam.

He rejected allegations of efforts to convert Sunni or Wahhabi followers to Shia Islam expressing satisfaction that due to logical answers for questions on Ahlul Bayt (AS) and also criticism of Wahhabi thoughts, some divert views have been guided to true nature of Shia.

Shia scholar also referred to the maiden move to air live programs participated by Sunni clerics.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Husseini Qazvini, denounced more than 30’000 pages of Wahhabi-published materials against Shia and Sunni Muslims expressing regret that some Wahhabi sources include fatwas (religious statements) on excommunicating both major Islamic denominations far worse than those by Daesh terrorist group.

According to the Shia cleric none of the experts among the panel guests to talk shows are allowed to disrespect Sunni Muslims and any guest stating sacrilegious remarks towards Sunni Islam is quickly disconnected from live show.

Manager of the Shia television channel also referred to the appreciation of grand Ayatollah Sistani, top Iraqi Shia jurisprudent, for the logical and moderate view hired by the television proposing that Iraqi Sunni scholars to be included among the guests to live programs.

Velayat television is a non-governmental and non-profit independent channel launched by prominent Iranian jurisprudent, grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, in an attempt to stabilization of ideological and scientific bases of Shia Islam and also answering the questions raised on the Islamic denomination.
