Mass Graves Uncovered in Eastern Ghouta

Two large mass graves of terrorists’ victims, where over 200 bodies had been buried, were discovered in the Syrian Army’s mop-up operation in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus province, local sources reported on Sunday.

The army units discovered a mass grave in al-Shifouniyeh Farms in Eastern Ghouta with a sum of 172 bodies.

A field source said that the victims have been killed by gun fire long time ago.

In the meantime, other units of the army found another mass grave with almost 40 bodies in Fowj al-Naql in Eastern Ghouta.

Other sources in the town of Douma reported that the army soldiers carried out mop-up operation in the town, discovering over 55 barrels of explosive buried by Jeish al-Islam terrorists before withdrawing from Douma.

In a similar development last month, the army discovered a mass grave of Jeish al-Islam’s victims South of al-Jala Garden in Douma, where 30 bodies had been buried.

In the meantime, the army men found a large workshop of Jeish al-Islam in Douma that was used for making mortar shells.
