Middle-East’s Largest Automaker Announce 70% Quality Improvement

More than 400 quality improvement projects, 70% of which have been fulfilled, are defined in IKCO and customers will see the results gradually, Iran’s largest carmaker, Iran-Khodro Company (IKCO) said.
Recalling the formation of quality improvement council a year ago, Abbas Maleki Tehrani, IKCO senior vice-president said, “We have put quality improvement high on our agenda.”

“IKCO is also determined to fully back aftermarket service for every new car and with this perspective IKCO Dena has hit the market with a special support in aftermarket service network,” he added.

According to IKCO senior vice-president all quality issues have been studied and pointed out, the company’s quality infrastructure has been changed and the instruction for supervising IKCO part makers has been reviewed.

“We have run a new system to supervise part makers’ performance, which is expected to boost the quality of the parts,” Maleki Tehrani said and added, “Globalization demands high quality and we have a long way to go in this respect.”
