Minister of Communications: the return of ISP and telecommunications to work across Syria

Minister of Communications and Technology Dr. Imad Sabouni said that the Internet and communications service have returned this afternoon to normal across Syria after an interruption due to a malfunction in the optical cable, has continued since yesterday evening.

The minister Sabouni added that the workshops maintenance and repair redoubled efforts until it have been ​​ able to repair the failure and return the internet and communication to all parts of Syria.

The Internet service and communications were cut off yesterday evening because of a malfunction in the optical cable.
