Field sources in the Western parts of Dara’a revealed intense infighting between the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Jaish Yarmouk on one side and the ISIL-affiliated Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade terrorist group on the other side in the Western parts of Dara’a.

During the clashes on Tuesday, a commander of al-Nusra Front named Qassem al-Mosalemah (Abolhoda) was killed.

Also in another development in Dara’a, a leader of Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade, nom de guerre Abu al-Tabn, was severely injured in clashes with Islamic Muthanna Movement (a Syrian Salafist rebel group) in a region near Adwan village.

Two terrorist groups fighting under the flag of the Free Syrian Army in Syria’s Southern province of Dara’a had also engaged in fierce clashes with each other on Monday.

“The terrorists of al-Faylaq al-Oula (First Brigade) group stormed the military positions of a rival militant group called Jaysh al-Mu’taz Billah in the city of Tafas in Dara’a province,” local sources said.

Tens of militants from both sides were killed and dozens more were wounded in the fierce clashes across the city.

Internal clashes among the terrorist groups are on the rise after the Syrian army’s advances in more militant-held territories and after a recent ceasefire between the government troops and armed opposition factions that excludes the al-Nusra Front, ISIL and Jeish Al-Islam.

Last week, the Ahrar al-Sham and Jund al-Aqsa terrorist groups operating in the Northern province of Aleppo engaged in fierce clashes with each other after the death of a senior ISIL ringleader in Homs province.

After a senior ISIL ringleader in Homs province who was dispatched to assist other terrorists in Aleppo succumbed to death hours after receiving deadly wounds in clashes with the Syrian Army last week, the Jund al-Aqsa terrorist group sought to hold a ceremony for his death but Ahrar al-Sham opposed it which resulted in heavy clashes.

The clashes happened in Sarmin village in the Southeastern part of Aleppo province.

Hessan Aboud al-Sarmini was died of his lethal wounds in Khanasser region Southeast of Aleppo after being seriously wounded in clashes with the Syrian army and its allies.
