Moussawi: Resistance Arms Not for Compromise, Hizbullah Outside Circle of Chaos

Hizbullah International Affairs Official, Ammar Moussawi, believed that the events in Lebanon’s North and its ongoing repercussions is in fact a scandal, especially to the perpetrators of the violence who claim to speak reason.
Moussawi indicated that the recent events do not represent the will of the people of the North, nor do they reflect their interests.
“Yet those who sought to impose chaos, were the first to blunder in it, and the first to call on the security apparatuses to put an end for it,” Moussawi iterated.
Also, Moussawi wondered why Hizbullah was said to take part in the recent events, believing that in the context of incitement mobilization, some parties propel Hizbullah in all conflicts in order to cause virtual battles.
“This policy does not build homelands, nor does it achieve security and peace,” he noted.
“The weapon that gave Lebanon achievements, especially in May 2000, and the July 2006 confrontations, and guarantees a balance of deterrence with the Zionist entity, will not become a matter of compromise, because it is owned by this nation and the Lebanese people,” Hizbullah International Affairs Official went on to say.
