Moussawi Vows to Retrieve ‘Every Inch of Occupied Palestine’

Member of Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Nawwaf Moussawi stated, “If the money spent to support the weapons of the armed groups in Syria were spent on the Palestinian resistance, we would have liberated most of Palestine.”
In the memorial of the founder of “The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine” George Habash and his friend Abu Maher al-Yamani, also in solidarity with prisoner George Abdullah, Moussawi reiterated, “We remain with the Resistance despite the campaigns and accusations, and we will not back down from resisting the “Israeli” enemy.”

Referring to the attack on former PM Omar Karami’s son in Tripoli, Moussawi expressed his “respect and appreciation to the great man [former Lebanese] PM Omar Karami,” describing “the spirit he owned towards the assault on his son an ideal example for Lebanese politics.”
Moreover, Moussawi called on all political forces to “return to dialogue and sort differences based on dialogue.”

On another note Moussawi stressed “We still have a chance in the upcoming parliamentary elections to build the pillars of security, conciliation, and cooperation provided we choose an electoral law well,” underscoring, “We support the proportional electoral law, since parliamentary majority rules out multiplicity, while proportionality represents multiple societies.”

Moreover, Moussawi expressed his party’s will and readiness to reach a consensual electoral law. He further stated that efforts must be exerted to hold elections on schedule.
“Since the establishment of [the “Israeli”] entity, we have gathered upon one goal; the resistance, and we will continue resisting until its annihilation,” He added.

On another note, MP Nawwaf Moussawi saluted the Palestinian resistance’s martyrs, and indicated, “We are used to the West, chiefly the US administration, to consider every weapon resisting “Israel” a terrorist weapon, while hundreds of millions of dollars are spent on other weapons fighting [the Syrian regime].”
In this context, Moussawi stated, “We vow, as His Eminence [Hizbullah’s] Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has vowed, to retrieve [Occupied Palestine] to the last drop of water rich with natural gas and oil resources.”
Furthermore, Moussawi reiterated by calling on the Palestinians “not to believe whoever says that “Israel” is currently at its peak, since it is at its weakest phase in reference to “Israeli” strategic analysts,” emphasizing, “this entity, a supposed stronghold for Jewish Diaspora, is not safe anymore and subject to rocket bombings to every inch of Palestine it occupies.”

“We are confident in Allah’s pledge to return to Palestine and al-Quds, and we will pray in al-Aqsa Mosque and ring al-Qiyamah Church bells together,” Nawwaf Moussawi concluded.
