Mursi off to Turkey to Discuss Syrian, Palestinian Files

Egyptian President Mohammad Mursi took off to Ankara Sunday in a visit that will last for 12 hours.

Mursi is scheduled to meet Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit, and will discuss with them the Syrian and Palestinian files, as well as the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Discussing the Syrian crisis comes in context of the quartet initiative that is headed by Egypt, and consists of Iran, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia.
