Muslims, regular victims of terror attacks: Commentator

Sukant Chandan, a filmmaker and political commentator, says Prime Minister Theresa May is using the terrorist organizations directly supported by “leading Western regimes” in order to target the Muslim community in Britain, adding that Muslims are always the victims of terrorism globally.

“Theresa May’s speech today is a green light to racist to go for Muslims, it is a green light for the state to go for Muslims and it is a green light for racism amongst the population to target Muslims. Her rhetoric of ‘Islamic extremism’ … is just a very clear anti-Muslim, racist, Islamophobic rhetoric that is set to divert people’s attention [away from] the Tory government’s own complicity in terrorism throughout the Muslim world and their own collusion with terrorist communities in this country,” Chandan told PressTV in an interview on Sunday.
