Namibian FM: Int’l community should answer President Ahmadinejad’s questions

Namibia’s Foreign Minister Utoni Daniel Nujoma said on Tuesday the international community should answer the questions posed by President Mahmud Ahmadinejad in the 66th Session of the UN General Assembly.

Nujoma made the remarks in a meeting with his Iranian Counterpart Ali-Akbar Salehi on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York.

He also called for fostering mutual ties in economic, agricultural, scientific and technical arenas.

Salehi, for his part, said Iran and Namibia enjoy amicable relations, adding an all-out endeavor should be made in expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two sides.

He called for establishing Iran-Namibia’s joint economic commission for regulating and following up economic and trade cooperation.

Salehi’s proposal was highly welcomed by his Namibian counterpart.
