NASA confirms Iran’s Pishgam explorer launching

The head of Iran Space Agency (ISA) says NASA experts have confirmed that Iran had launched Pishgam (Pioneer) explorer to space, and it leaves no doubt on Iran’s space activities.
Hamid Fazeli told reporters at the end of Cabinet meeting, that international institutions, which have been monitoring the space activities of 10 countries, reported that Iran had the most rapid development in space science.

He pointed to monkey-carrying explorer capsule, and said that “the very fact of NASA confirmation of our success, and that they have examined the videos and confirmed Iran’s success, is important achievement.”

“This success is bringing honor and credit to Iran, and God willing, Iranian officials will see the impact of such achievement in international balance and interactions,’ Fazeli said.
