Nasrallah: Fighting Takfiri Terrorists in Syria “worth the sacrifice”

351004_Seyyed-Hassan-NasrallahHezbollah’s Secretary General has declared that fighting Takfiri Terrorism in Syria is worth the sacrifice.
Criticizing those who consider that Hezbollah’s withdrawal from Syria would stop the bombings in Lebanon, Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that had the Takfiris triumphed in Syria, it would have become more dangerous than Afghanistan and would have spread to Lebanon. Nasrallah considered Hezbollah’s war against Takfiri militants in the same realm of fighting the Israeli enemy since Israel’s goals coincide with Takfiri activity. He said Israel and the US have infiltrated terrorist Takfiri groups operating in the Middle East and are using them for their own interests. Nasrallah noted that the Saudi authorities are arming and funding Takfiri groups and that these groups are seeking to sow sectarian discord throughout the entire region. The Hezbollah leader described the al-Nusra Front and the militants associated with the group called the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria — or I-S-I-L — as the best examples of the Saudi-backed Takfiri mindset. Strategic experts say that Hezbollah’s fight against the Takfiri militants would relieve the entire region of their dangers: Head of the Lebanese Resistance considered the formation of the Lebanese government as significant in helping Lebanon avert internal strife: Sayyed Nasrallah noted that what had hindered the formation of the government was the insistence of the Future movement led by Saad Hariri on not entering a government including Hezbollah. On the martyrdom anniversary of Hezbollah’s most prominent leaders assassinated by Israel, the movement’s secretary general said that the resistance is stronger than ever despite its fighting against Takfiri militants in neighboring Syria.
