‘Nation’s growth cause of anti-Iran bids’

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the persistence of enemy plots against Iran indicates that the country is on course towards achieving its objectives and principles.

The persistence of mobilized efforts by the global “hegemonic front” to engage in propaganda, political, economic and security campaigns against the Islamic Republic serves as a clear indication of Iran’s speedy advancement towards the realization of its major “objectives and ideals,” said the Supreme Leader in a meeting with officials, managers and state employees in the western province of Kermanshah on Thursday.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei then emphasized that “in case the nation’s progress faced a downward, slow and a weakened trend, the enemy would not have engaged in such vigorous efforts [against us].”

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei also pointed to the ongoing wave of Islamic Awakening in the region and said the embracement by regional nations of Iran’s Islamic position that abides by Sharia laws reflects their interest and attention to the model of the Islamic Republic.

The Leader wrapped up his 9-day tour of the western Kermanshah Province Thursday afternoon and returned to the capital of Tehran. During the landmark visit, he was warmly welcomed by an overwhelming number of joyous masses of people from the important province.
