Navy commander rejects violation of Iran water territories by US

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Navy Commander Ali Fadavi rejected claims of violation of Iran’s territorial waters by the US warships.

Talking to reporters at the sideline of a gathering here on Sunday, he said the issue was just a media ballyhoo.

Pointing out that the Persian Gulf and Hormuz Strait cover only a small district, he stressed that Iran was in full control of the entire region.

Referring to Iran’s good and friendly ties with its neighboring countries, the commander stressed that alien forces in the region desire to see no kind of intimate relations among regional countries.

Fadavi also commented on the three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf and stressed that they have always belonged to Iran all through the history.
