Bloody hands of zionists on Lebanon: Nearly two dozen die in blasts in Beirut

Nearly two dozen people have been killed and over 140 others injured in two bomb explosions outside the Iranian Embassy in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

The bombings were carried out on Tuesday in Beirut’s southern neighborhood of Jinah.

According to Press TV sources, the first explosion occurred when a bomber blew his explosives near the gate of the embassy, and the second blast happened just meters away when a car bomb went off.

Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati described the bombings as “a cowardly terrorist act.”

Mikati was quoted by Lebanese NNA news agency as saying that the aim of the attacks was to “stir-up the situation in Lebanon.”

“We have asked the security apparatuses to speed up the investigations to uncover and arrest the perpetrators.”
