New ’Israeli’ Spying Devices in Lebanese Mountains

As-Safir Lebanese newspaper revealed Wednesday that the Zionist entity continued to breach the Lebanese sovereignty through espionage activities.

In details, the daily unveiled that the “Israeli” army installed a new spying station, including high-tech devices and advanced equipment, in the occupied al-Sheikh mountains near the Lebanese border.

It further mentioned that “Israel” directed these devices to monitor Hasbaya, Orqoub, Rashaya, the Bekaa and several areas in eastern Lebanon mountain range.

“Installing the spying station lasted several hours on Tuesday and was accompanied by a complete protection from “Israeli” vehicles,” as-Safir clarified, and pointed out that “since 9:00 AM “Israel” started to install the devices on columns erected on the northern and eastern sides.”

According to experts, “Israel” aims to expand and raise the ability of this espionage station, which is one of the biggest and largest “Israeli” spy sites at the northern border of with Lebanon.

“Israel’s” recent installation of spying stations along its border with Lebanon angered several politicians as the parliamentary telecommunications committee vowed to confront the matter.

Earlier in November, Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri revealed that “Israel” had set up a number of espionage stations along its border with Lebanon, starting from al-Naqoura passing by Khayyam all the way to Sheba.

The biggest espionage station is supposedly erected in al-Abbad and Jan al-Alam areas.
