Now talks with Iran “real and detail”: Ashton

European Union Foreign-Policy Chief Catherine Ashton said now talks with Iran are “determined and creative” and the parties provide detail talks.
According to MNA, Catherine Ashton who was speaking at the German Marshall Fund’s Brussels Forum, referring to the P5+1 and Iran negotiations and said: “When I first started to lead these negotiations, we weren’t really discussing the subject.

Now we discuss the subject in detail, we have the slideshow presentations; we have a real discussion about the issues both when the technical-level discussions take place and the political-level.”

The latest round of talks between Iran and P5+1 representative was held in the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan, and both side assessed the talks as “useful”.

The next round of talks, expert-level talks will be held in late March in Istanbul, Turkey and again in mid-April on the political representatives’ level in Almaty, Kazakhstan. And the head of Iran and P5 + 1 negotiating team EU Foreign-Policy Chief and the head of the P5+1 negotiating team has asked Western negotiating team to be “determined” and “creative”.

She added:”they [P5+1] had to do more to build a level of “communication” and “trust” with the Iranian side.”

Aston said: “Such a move would encourage Iranian officials already beginning to engage in a real discussion to move on their nuclear program.”
