Occupation forces releases two Palestinian MPs

Zionist Israeli occupation forces released, on Thursday, two Islamist members of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Mahmoud Ramahi, secretary of the PLC from the city of Ramallah, and MP Nizar Ramadan from Al-Khalil.

They spent a year and a half in administrative detention before being released from the Negev Desert prison, according to their families.

Dr. Ramahi was arrested on 10/11/2010 where his administrative detention was renewed three times in a row, while the MP Nizar Ramadan was arrested on 11/7/2010 following repeated periods of administrative detention.

With the two MPs’ release, there are still 15 prisoners from the Change and Reform bloc in occupation prisons topped by PLC speaker Dr. Aziz Dweik.
