Takfirism form of ideological colonization

Takfirism is being promoted as a form of ideological colonization worldwide, with the Saudi regime spending huge sums of money to disseminate this crooked principle, a prominent political analyst says.

In a column on Press TV, Iranian author and Middle East expert Dr. Ismail Salami said large amounts of Saudi regime’s petrodollars are spent on the dissemination of Takfirism and Wahhabism and the subsequent promotion of terrorism across the world.

“Takfirism, which is an umbrella name for Wahhabism, is lavishly funded by Saudi Arabia. For over three decades, Saudi Arabia has been spent over USD 100 billion on promoting Wahhabism worldwide with Pakistan being one of the early instances of such ideological colonization in Asia,” said the professor with the University of Tehran.
He described Takfirism as a “twisted perception and interpretation of Islam” which seeks to eliminate everyone that does not believe in their ideas.

Pointing to a recent incident in Pakistan, during which a schoolboy sacrificed his life to stop a Taliban bomber, the analyst said Takfiris carry out different forms of terrorist attacks and crimes to “purge” the earth of whomever they consider to be “infidel.”

“Suicide bombing is nothing new in Pakistan and some of the countries infested by the influence of the Takfiri groups who are hell-bent on annihilating the rest of the world which they view as ideologically inferior,” Salami noted.
On Monday, a Shia Pakistani schoolboy threw himself on top of a man who came to bomb his school in the northwestern district of Hangu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. The 15- year-old Aitizaz Hassan died in hospital after the attacker detonated his bomb at the gate of school.

Salami said that the Western media attributed such attacks to sectarianism to capitalize on the discord across the Middle East but the fact was that “what is happening in Pakistan is an ideological product of the House of Saud and their ignorant adherents.”

Meanwhile, large crowds of demonstrators have held massive protest rallies to condemn attacks on Shia Muslims in recent weeks. The protesters blamed the foreign-funded Takfiri elements and pro-Taliban groups for the violence saying that the government must take decisive action against them.
