The Israeli regime is continuing its offensive on the besieged Gaza Strip, killing one more Palestinian in the coastal sliver.

According to reports, the Israeli military launched 160 air raids against the impoverished enclave on Wednesday night.

“Over the last two days we attacked a total of about 430 targets,” an Israeli military official said.

According to reports, Rafiq al-Kafarneh, a 30-year-old Palestinian, was killed and another person was seriously wounded in an Israeli airstrike in Beat Lahiya in northern Gaza.

The death brought the number of the fatalities from the Israeli offensives in the coastal sliver to 29 people, including children and women.

The office of the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has announced a state of emergency at all its medical facilities in the besieged territory.

Twenty eight Palestinians were killed and over 200 others were injured in Israeli attacks on Tuesday. The deadliest strike of the day took place when a missile hit a house in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis, leaving eight people dead, emergency services spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said.

Palestinian resistance movements in the besieged Gaza Strip have responded to Israel’s aggression by targeting towns and cities deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories. The Israeli military said on Tuesday that 130 rockets were fired from Gaza, with 70 hitting different sites.

Meanwhile, reports by Israeli media said the US-funded Iron Dome missile system intercepted a rocket targeting Tel Aviv.

Tensions heightened between Palestinians and Israelis after the burning alive of Mohammed Abu Khdeir, a Palestinian teen, in East al-Quds (Jerusalem) last week. Abu Khdeir’s death came after Israel buried three settlers, whose bodies were found in the West Bank. Tel Aviv claims Hamas is responsible for the death of the three. However, the resistance movement rejects the allegation.
