A teenage boy has been killed and two other teens have been injured in a triple shooting in East Point, Georgia, according to American authorities.

Three males fatally shot Anthony Harris, 14, and wounded at least two others near the Lakeshire Village apartments on Monday afternoon.

“Multiple gunshots from multiple weapons,” said Capt. Cliff Chandler of East Point Police Department. “The victims were struck multiple times so there was quite a bit of gunfire that took place out here amongst a large amount of people.”

Even though the shootings had all the characteristics of gang violence, the victim was reported to be a quiet, nerdy kid who loved video games.

“Anthony was a great kid,” said his grieving grandmother, Julia West. “I don’t want anyone to paint a negative picture of him. He happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

The other two victims were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and are in stable condition.

“We have all these people shot up, but we don’t have any motive right now,” Chandler said.

The three males drove off in a black Chrysler 300 speeding away from the scene and police have not arrested any suspects.

Over 6,000 people have been killed and over 13,000 people have been injured by gun in the United States since January 1, 2015, according to the Gun Violence Archive.
