He voiced Khartoum’s willingness to boost cooperation with Iran, and noted, “Today, Sudan needs to boost its level of cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran because Iran is a powerful country and the owner of technology in the region.”

The Iranian official, for his part, voiced Tehran’s preparedness to share its experiences with Sudan in different spheres, including scientific, technical and engineering fields.

Saeedlou also stressed that “Iran is fully ready to cooperate with Sudan in areas of pharmacology, agriculture and animal husbandry”.

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, for his part, underlined the significance of the relations between Iran and Sudan, and stated that his country that owns rich natural resources has opened all ways of cooperation to Iran so that the two countries can benefit from these resources in the interest of their nations and the entire Islamic Ummah through partnership and joint cooperation.
