Opportunity of Talks Never Repeats: Zarif in Munich

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said sanctions have not been able to prevent Iran from developing its nuclear program, saying the only way to reach an agreement is negotiation.
Talking in an open discussion session on the sidelines of Munich Security Conference, Zarif said the opportunity of talks should not be missed because it never repeats, IRNA reports.
He added the negotiating parties should respect the government of Iran and they should not talk about a win-lose game.
Today Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said Iran would rather not sign any nuclear agreement with the P5+1 than strike a deal that contradicts the interests of the Iranian nation.
Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei further said Iranian nuclear negotiators are making efforts to secure the removal of hostile sanctions against Tehran during their discussions with the six world powers, adding, however, that if they fail to do so, there are numerous ways inside the country to blunt the impact of the US-led bans.
In Munich Zarif to a question about what will happen if there is no agreement,said: if we do not reach a final agreement, we will take another way. I hope all sides will take approaches from which all gain. Anyway, if there is no agreement, it would not be the end of the world.
Zarif also said extending the negotiations is not helpful and would not bear any fruit.The other sides are also for an agreement as soon as possible, he added.

Zarif sounded hopeful about progress in the talks, but said negotiations shouldn’t extend beyond the March deadline, Times of Israel reported.
