Over 40 Palestinians injured by Israeli forces in Gaza border protests

Dozens of Palestinians sustained injuries along the Israeli border in the Gaza Strip on Friday, as the ‘Great March of Return’ protests resumed.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, over 10 protesters were injured by live ammunition, whereas at least 30 were hospitalised due to tear gas inhalation.

The Great March of Return, launched in late March, form a series of protests along the Israeli-Palestinian border to demand the right for Palestinians to return to their families’ pre-1948 homes.
