Palestine Culture Ministry denounces the zionist Israeli film on Aqsa

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports denounced the Israeli film propagating the idea of razing the Aqsa Mosque and building the alleged Jewish temple in its place.

The ministry said in a statement on Thursday that the Foreign Ministry’s production of this film confirmed the Israeli continued policy to target Islamic holy sites especially Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The ministry statement held the occupation authorities responsible for any crime or aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque, warning against the seriousness of such calls that coincided with systematic campaign in the occupied city of Jerusalem where settlement projects have been accelerated in the city.

The ministry considered that the Israeli intentions, uncovered in the film, represent a series of escalatory steps targeting Jerusalem, aiming to end the Arab and Islamic presence in the city.

The statement added that the ministry will not stand idly towards these Israeli intentions, and will collaborate with cultural institutions in the Arab and Islamic world in order to expose these practices, and to deter the Israeli crimes against holy sites.

The ministry called for criminalizing such Israeli attempts, saying that implementing such schemes will face a large response in light of the Arab revolutions that prevailed in the region.
