Palestinian Archbishop: Syria Takfiris Foes of Al-Quds

A Palestinian archbishop strongly condemned Takfiri terrorists’ bloody attack on the Syrian city of Adra, describing them as enemies of Palestine and al-Quds.
Palestinian Greek Orthodox Archbishop Theodosios Atallah Hanna slammed the terrorist groups waging war in Syria and extended his condolences to the families of those slain during the insurgents’ attack against Adra, Al-Alam reported.

The remarks by the senior Christian cleric came in a Saturday interview with a Syrian television channel, in which he emphasize that the close ties between Damascus and al-Quds (Jerusalem) will remain untouched.

The Palestinian archbishop stressed, “Those who conspire against Syrian nation and army, including those Arab states that provide support to the Takfiri terrorists, are conspiring against al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque and are Palestine’s enemies.”

He further added that Syria, through the fierce resistance waged by its nation, would rise to victory in the battle against the foreign-backed terrorists.

Militants from the terrorist Jaysh al-Islam group and Al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front launched the deadly attack on Adra, located in Northeastern outskirts of Damascus, on Wednesday, massacring scores of people, including the town’s mayor, and forcing hundreds to flee their homes.
