Palestinian Dies of Wounds Suffered Last Friday

Palestinian medical sources have reported that a young Palestinian man died on Wednesday, June 25, of serious gunshot wounds, he suffered last Friday, when dozens of soldiers invaded the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The sources said Mustafa Hosni Taher Aslan, 24 years of age, was shot by a live round in his head, and was moved to a local hospital before being moved to the Hadassah Israeli hospital due to the seriousness of his condition.

His father said the family is just waiting for official documents to be concluded in order to move the body of his slain son back to Ramallah, for official burial ceremonies.

Also on Wednesday, medical sources have reported on Wednesday evening, that a teenager was shot by a rubber-coated metal bullet, while several Palestinians suffered the effects of teargas inhalation, near Al Khalil.

Local sources said clashes took place at the Khasra village junction, near Doura town, west of the southern West Bank city of Al Khalil.

In Addition, a Palestinian woman, identified as Amneh Mohammad, 62, from the northern West Bank village of Beit Dajan near Nablus city, died on Wednesday afternoon at an Israeli roadblock.

Local media sources said that Amneh was being transported from her village by a Palestinian ambulance to the city of Nablus after suffering from pain in her chest.

Soldiers manning a checkpoint outside the village delayed the ambulance for 30 minutes. While waiting to pass, Amneh died at the checkpoint, medical sources said.
