Palestinian Minister Radwan condemns the burning of dozens of mosques in Myanmar

images_News_2013_03_30_mynmar_300_0Minister of Awkaf and religious affairs in Gaza Dr. Ismail Radwan has denounced the burning of dozens of Muslim homes and mosques in Myanmar at the hands of Buddhists.

Radwan described in a statement the escalating attacks on Muslim homes and shrines on Friday as a “crime against humanity”.

He said that the “criminals” of the Buddhist community who set alight homes and mosques of the Rohingya Muslims should stand trial at the international criminal court.

The minister urged the Muslim nations to immediately act to save the Muslim minority in Myanmar who are the target of “the most brutal act of racial cleansing in the history of Mankind”.

Radwan asked all Muslim countries to extend urgent relief material to the Muslims in Myanmar who are facing a humanitarian crisis.
