Palestinian mother dies following Israeli aggressive raid on home

A Palestinian mother has died of a heart attack after Israeli forces aggressively raided her home in the West Bank city of al-Khalil (Hebron) in search for three missing Jewish settlers.
Fatma Rushdie died at Hebron General Hospital Thursday morning after she suffered a heart attack during the Israeli raid on her home in Al-Arroub refugee camp.
Israeli forces had refused to allow Rushdie’s transfer to the hospital, which further worsened her condition, according to eyewitnesses.
Tension has mounted in the Palestinian territories as Israeli forces continue to stage airstrikes on the Gaza Strip and carry out arrest campaigns in the occupied West Bank against the backdrop of ongoing search operations.
Israel accuses Gaza-based Hamas movement of kidnapping the three settlers, who went missing from a Jewish settlement in the West Bank two weeks ago – a claim the Palestinian resistance faction has strongly denied.
Since the trio was first reported missing in mid-June, at least eight Palestinians have been killed and hundreds arrested – including several Hamas-affiliated lawmakers.
