Palestinians unleash fresh barrage of rockets

11111aaaaaaaaaaaa

Palestinian resistance groups respond to a fresh series of Israeli air attacks by firing rockets into Israel as the Gaza death toll keeps rising.

Latest reports say as many as 30 rockets and missiles have been fired from the besieged enclave into Israel in retaliation for Tel Aviv’s relentless air raids on the besieged enclave.

The armed wing of Hamas, the Qassam Brigades, says it targeted Ashdod and Ashkelon with nearly a dozen rockets.

The resistance group says a long-range missile hit Haifa in the north while at least five others landed in Rehovot near Tel Aviv.

Hours earlier, Tel Aviv, Ashkelon and Eilat came under a barrage of rocket fire.

At least 10 Israelis were reportedly injured in Eilat.

Sirens sounded in several other cities.

The Palestinian resistance group says it’ll continue firing rockets into Israel as long as Tel Aviv presses ahead with its fatal attacks on Gaza.

This comes as more Palestinians are killed in the Gaza Strip as Israel continues its assault on the impoverished territory.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the death toll from Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip over the past week has now mounted to 192. Another 1400 Gazans have been injured in the Israeli assaults

Since last Tuesday, Israeli warplanes have struck more than a thousand targets across the besieged enclave, which is home to around 1.8 million Palestinians.

Medical sources say the number of fatalities has already exceeded the death toll from the 2012 conflict.

According to the United Nations, 80 percent of the casualties have been civilians.

Meanwhile, Israeli troops and tanks remain amassed on Gaza border in preparation for a possible ground assault.

Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has warned that it is prepared to hit back at Israeli forces should the Tel Aviv regime launch a full-scale ground attack against Gaza.
