Peace fighters(?) terrorists once more targeted Syrians but no civilian casualities

Car bomb attack hits Syrian capital

Foreign-backed militants in Syria have carried out a car bomb attack in the Syrian capital, Damascus, causing no civilian casualties, Press TV reports.

The attack took place on Tuesday, after an explosive put under a parked vehicle on al-Mezzeh highway detonated.

The blast caused material damage to a number of nearby vehicles. There were no reports of civilian casualties.

On Monday, a bomb explosion hit the town of al-Mleiha near Damascus, injuring many people. The blast reportedly targeted a military checkpoint.

Foreign-backed militants fired three mortar shells in the capital’s Barzeh neighborhood also on Monday, killing two teenage girls and injuring eight others, including children.

Syria has been gripped by a deadly unrest since March 2011, and many people, including large numbers of Syrian army and security forces have been killed in the violence.

Damascus says the chaos is being orchestrated from outside the country, and there are reports that a very large number of the militants are foreign nationals.

The Syrian government says the West and its regional allies, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, are supporting the militants.

Several international human rights organizations have accused militants operating in Syria of committing war crimes.
