People of Golan congratulate their homeland on Eid al-Fitr

People of the occupied Syrian Golan reiterated that they stand by their homeland Syria and its army and leadership in the face of the armed terrorist groups until eradicating all their dens everywhere on the Syrian land.

The Golan people issued Thursday a statement on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr (Feast of the Breaking of Fast) in which they asked God to have mercy upon the martyrs’ souls and congratulated their families and relatives, wishing speedy recovery for the injured.

They condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist crimes committed by “the gangs of treason and criminality” against the Syrian people and army all over Syria, announcing that Eid celebrations in the villages and towns of Golan will be limited to religious rituals and social visits.

The Golan people also expressed congratulations to President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian army and people on Eid al-Fitr, praying for God to help Syria restore peace, security and stability to all its areas.
