Photo-They burn Muslims alive! (+18), no reaction from Turkey, S. Arabia and Qatar

Deafening silence by muslim countries, international community and western countries has perpetuated the plight of Muslims in Myanmar. There’s no reaction against burning Myanmar Muslims alive from the countries
such as Turkey, S. Arabia and Qatar criticize Syrian regime for insubstantial reasons. Muslims in Myanmar have been victims to genocide, ethnic and sectarian violence, and have been living in the most pathetic conditions.

Violence against Muslims, once limited to Western state of Rokhine, Myanmar, now has spread to whole country. angry and aggressive Buddhist groups, some of them related to military movement ‘9 6 9,’ which denoted ‘Buddha’s 9 qualities, Buddha’s 6 realms, and 9 qualities of monasticism,’ have attacked Muslims in Meiktila, Naypyidaw, Bago, and recently, Yangon, country’s largest city. Many Muslims fear to go to mosques, go shopping, and going out of their home with display of being Muslim.

In past two years, at least 100,000 Muslims have been drawn out of their homes, and thousands of them have been killed. The incompetence of Myanmar’s central government has encouraged extremist tribes of the country to treat Muslims with savagery and violence. In May 6,Thein Sein, Burmese president, said that his government was committed to restore order and tranquility in Rokhine province. But the violent and heart-scratching events against Muslims in Rokhine prove the contrary.

Creating temporary camps for Rohingya Muslims has now been regular Muslim living places, and it has been like a prison for them. Muslims may not leave the camps. Aid and rescue workers are threatened. Muslims are tense with anger and frustration in the camps.

The violence against Muslims in Myanmar stills go unabated while official statistics indicated that in last March 43 people were murdered in Meiktila. A video released in April 22 in Myanmar and its large publicity has brought the case in the spotlight of news and analysis. The video featured gang attack by Buddhists and severe beating of Muslims and even setting fire on them. Confirmed reports from Meiktila indicate that Muslims have been victim to extremist Buddhists’ harshest violence and cruelty. In a fresh wave of Muslim genocide, 20 schoolboys were kidnapped and after being slaughtered, were burned in fire.

There is no exact official number of victims of genocide in Myanmar. Unofficial accounts had it that in recent violence, 170 people were killed, 7000 injured, and 40000 others were arrested and imprisoned.

The leader of Myanmar Muslims Dr Mohammad Younes believes that silence by Muslim countries along with Western countries is the major contributor to ongoing murder of Muslims. He said that extremist Buddhists did not welcome Muslims in their communities, and thus, they arrested educated young people and transfer to unknown places and rape Muslim women.

The US approved reforms, started after Hilary Clinton’s visit to Myanmar is under way in complete media silence.
