Nearly 80 Terrorists Killed, Wounded in Syrian Army Attacks in Aleppo City

At least 36 members of the terrorist groups were killed and 42 more were wounded in the Syrian Army troops’ assaults on their positions in the districts North and Southeast of Aleppo city.

The Syrian army men’s offensives on the concentration centers and gatherings of Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly-formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as the al-Nusra Front) in Sheikh Saeed in Southeastern Aleppo and in al-Sharafeh and al-Oweijeh in the Northeast left 7 terrorists dead and 42 others wounded.

The body of Fatah al-Sham’s senior commander, Abu Awash, has been identified amont the dead.

The Syrian troops and their popular allies targeted the strongholds of Jeish al-Fatah in al-Mojbal, al-Brij and Hananou, leaving at least 29 terrorists dead.

On Monday, Russian and Syrian fighter jets carried out several joint combat flights over the positions of Fatah al-Sham Front in at least 6 neighborhoods in different parts of Aleppo city.

The Russian and Syrian fighter jets targeted Fatah al-Sham’s concentration centers in Salahuddin, al-Ansari, al-Sakri, al-Sakhour, al-Sha’ar and Tariq al-Bab, and cut off the terrorists’ supply routes to Aleppo city from Kafr Hamra in the North, al-Mansoureh in the West and Khalseh, Khan Touman, al-Eis and al-Zarbeh in Southern Aleppo.

Military sources also said that at least 29 militants were killed and 27 more were wounded in clashes with the Syrian pro-government forces near a road connecting al-Mojba to al-Brij and Masaken al-Hananou in the Northeastern parts of Aleppo.

In the meantime, a commander of Nouralddeen al-Zinki terrorist group in Karam al-Torab, known as Omar al-Sheikh, was killed in clashes with the army men.
