PM Haneyya: Gaza will never interfere in Egypt’s internal affairs

images_News_2013_02_23_haneyya-egypt_300_0Gaza’s Prime Minister, Ismail Haneyya, said that Gaza will always support stability and security of Egypt.

Haneyya asserted during a reception of the delegation of Egyptian scholars to Gaza Strip that Gaza will always be a protective shield for the security of Egypt, and will never interfere in the Egyptian internal affairs.

He stressed that Egypt has changed after the revolution and started to support the Palestinian resistance, pointing to the position taken by the Egyptian President Morsi and the Egyptian leadership and people during the last war on Gaza.

Gaza’s Premier said that although Egypt has been busy in the construction of the new state and its internal and external challenges, it did not forget Palestine and has never abandoned its role towards Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Haneyya also stressed that the Gaza Strip enjoys free will and self-determination in spite of the occupation’s attempts to isolate it from its regional environment.

It is through resistance, and not through negotiations that Jerusalem will be liberated, the Hamas leader asserted.

For his part, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Salah Sultan, called on the Arab and Islamic nations to act for the liberation of Palestine.
