PM: no misguided faction or terrorist group can affect the Syrian social fabric

Prime Minister, Wael al-Halqi, stressed that Syria is the springboard of civilizations and the cradle of heavenly religions, adding that no misguided faction or terrorist group can affect the Syrian social fabric and national unity.

Heading the weekly cabinet session, the prime minister congratulated the Syrian people on the occasion of Christmas, wishing that next Christmas comes with security and stability restored to all Syrian territories.

He condemned the criminal acts in all provinces which are targeting the innocent citizens and the capacities of the Syrian people, stressing that these criminal acts are only coward reactions to the remarkable achievements of the Syrian army and diplomacy.

Al-Halqi reviewed the economic situation, pointing out to the enormous efforts exerted by the Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Ministry to provide all subsidies to the Syrian people.

Health Minister, Saad al-Nayef, pointed out to the success of the second national polio vaccination campaign which targeted over 2,177 million children.
